Officer Selection and Training
At American Services and Protection we offer the highest training possible, exceeding the training guidelines of the state of Ohio. Our officers are either formerly or currently serving in the United States military or in local and state law enforcement.

Officer Selection

They are screened using the strictest requirements:

• 21 years of age
• Local ,county ,state and national background check.
• Drug screening
• International terrorism check
• Past employee screening
• We do not or cannot hire any persons with serious convictions including all felonies.
• Driving record

Each employee is screened yearly. Also we conduct random drug and alcohol screenings to ensure our officers are acting at the highest levels of integrity

Training

Although we have strict hiring standards, we still have training for all officers usually before they can even put on a uniform. We use industry leading training to conduct and to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and readiness. The type of training we offer at American Services and Protection...

• Other weapons training
• Report procedures
• We strongly encourage each of our officers to undergo the Ohio Peace Officers training course ( the same course used by law enforcement) within 90 days of the start of employment.
